Chinmastika Temple (Rajrappa) :
                      This temple is situated in the Hazaribagh district (proposed Ramgarh
                      district). It is situated at the confluence of the Damodar and Bhera
                      (Bhairavi) Rivers.It is famous as "Shakti Peeth". Tantriks look upon this  
                      place for Tantric  accomplishment.

                                                     Mahamaya Temple (Gumla) :
                                                     The temple of Mahamaya is situated in Hapamui village, which is 1 km
                                                     west of Gamahariya, 14 km from the Ranchi-Lohardaga-Gumla
           `                                         highway. The king of Nag Dynasty, Gajthant, built this temple in 908
                                                     A.D. The idol of Maa Kali is placed in this temple. It is a Tantrik
                                                     altar. The first priest of this temple was "Dwij Harinath".

    Maa Yogini Temple (Godda):
    This temple is situated on the Barakopa Hill. According to myth, the right thigh of Maa Sati had fallen
    here.Here, a mountain, in the shape of a thigh, is placed to represent the Goddess. Here, the
    devotees offer red cloth.  Mrs. Charusheela Devi had sponsored all expenses of the temple.

    Tapovan ((Deoghar):
    This temple is devoted to Lord Shiva.There are caves
    here where the unmarried reside.It is said that Mata Sita
    had done penance here. Palamu Fort(Lathehar) The fort is
    situated on the banks of the Auranga River at a distance
    of 5km from the Betla National Park.The Chero King
    Medani Rai built this Fort, for his son Pratap Rai.There
    are two Forts here known as Purana Kila (Old Fort) and
    Naya Kila(New Fort). In the Naya Kila, the Nagpuri gate is
    famous for its beauty.The height of the door is 40 feet
    and the width is 15 feet. In the inner portion of the Fort,
    there are remnants of four duplexes and a Mosque
    having three domes. Daud Khan constructed this mosque
    in 1661.

    Ugarata Temple: (Nagar)
    This temple is situated at Nagar village (Mandargiri Hills), which is at adistance of 9 km from the
    Chandwa block headquarters in Lat ehar district. This temple is famous for Tantra-mantra.There is a
    tomb 2 km west from this temple. This tomb is famous as'the  "Tomb of Madarshah".

    Shri Vanashidhar Temple(Garwha)
    This temple is situated behind King's Fort at Nagaruntari.
    This temple was constructed in 1885AD and the idols of
    Radha-Krishna have been installed here.

    Baidyanath Temple : (Deoghar):
    Puranmal built this temple. Of the twelve epithets of Shiva,
    tne Manokamna Ling (epithet) is established here.
    There are twelve temples here. They are:
    Baidyanath, Parvati, Laxminarayan, Tara, Kali, Ganesh,
    Surya, Saraswati, Ramchandra, Devi Annapurna and
    Anand Bhairav.

                                                                 Yougal Mandir: (Deoghar)
                                                                  This temple is also known as Navlakha temple because a total
                                                                  of nine lakh rupees were spent in the construction of the
                                                                  temple.

                                                                 Shiv Temple of Benisnagar: (West Singhbhum)
                                                                  It is said that this temple was constructed between 602 A.D.
                                                                 and 625 AD.Shashank probably built this temple.
                                                                 33 small and big idols of the sixth century have been recovered
                                                                  from this temple mostly of Hanuman, Ganesh and Durga.

    Jaganath Temple: (Ranchi)
    The king ofthe Nag dynasty, "Thakur Aini Shah" built this temple
    in the  year 1691. Based on the Puri Temple, here a 100 feet hig
    h temple was also constructed.A big fair is held here during Rath
    Yatra.

    Kauleshwar Temple: (Chatra)
    This temple of Maa Kauleshwari is situated on the Kolhua hill at a heightof 1575 feet. Kolhua hill is
    important for three religions viz. Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The statues of the first pilgrims of
    the Jains, Rishabh Dev, Parshwanath etc. are established here. According to Jain Scholars, Kolhua hill
    is the place of penance of the tenth Jain Teerthankar, Sheetalnath Ji. It was also the place of
    meditationof the writer of the Mahapuran, Jinsen. At the peak, some statues of meditating Gautam
    Buddha can be found on the rocks.

    Deori Temple (Ranchi)
    This temple is situated at the Deori village, 3 km away from Tamad. There are 16 idols of Bhuji Devi.
    The idol of Shiva is placed on top of the idol of the Devi and on either side, the idols of Saraswati,
    Lakshmi, Kartik and Ganesh are placed. According to tradition, the Pahan offers prayers 6 days and
    the Brahmin worships the deity once in a week.

    Haldi Ghati Temple: (Gumla)
    This temple is situated in the Korambey Village in the Gumla district.  First of all, Kol Tell King ruled
    here. Thereafter, Raxails came here. For the Nagwanshi King and Raxails, this place is similar to Haldi
    Ghati. The temple of Basudev Rai is situated in Korambe. The beautiful and attractive statue of
    Basudev Rai, carved from black rocks is a symbol of the ancient tradition.

    Maa Bhadrakali Temple : (Chatra)
    This temple is situated in Bhaduli village of ltkhori block in Chatra district. The statue carved out of a
    single rock, is four and a half feet high, two and a half feet wide and weighs 12 quintals. Probably, this
    temple was founded in the Pal Age (5th - 6th century) Here, there is the Sahastralingi Shivling (symbol
    of Shiva) in which there are 1008 small Shivlings. In the temple premises, there is the Kotheshwarnath
    Stupa, in which Gautam Buddha's statues are embedded on all sides. There is a trench around it,
    whose length, width and depth are four feet each. Surprisingly, water always remains 3 inch deep in it.

    Vasukinath Dham (Dumka)
    It is situated at a distance of 25 kms from Dumka. All who go on piligrimage to Baidyanath Dham
    consider their pilgrimageincomplete without visiting this Dham. The story of Vasukinath is associated
    with "Sam dra Manthan" (sea churning). During sea churning, the churni g stick w de out of the
    Mandarachai mountain and the rope was made of Vasukinath This temple is 150 years old. Basaki
    Tanti built it. He was a Harijan. A big fair is organized here on the occasion of Shivratri.

    Surya Temple : (Bundu)
    This temple is situated near Bundu, on the Ranchi-Tata highway. This temple is made in the shape of
    the chariot of Sun. It was constructed by an organization of Ranchi called "Sanskriti Bihar". Describing
    the beauty of this temple. local literateurs call it "a poem written on the rock".

    Vishrampur Fort: (Palamau)
    The King of Vishrampur Raja Tadwan, who was a relative of the Chero Dynasty built this fort.  There is
    a temple near the Fort. It took almost 9 years to build the Fort as well as the Temple.

    Fort of Rohilo: (Palamau)
    This Fort is situated in Alinagar near Japla. The Rohila Sardar, Muzzaffar Khan, built this Fort

    Fort of Chainpur : (Palamau)
    The descendants of Diwan Puranmal built this fort.  They have also built a monument on the banks of
    the Koyal River, which is called "Chainpur Bangla".

    Fort of Kunda : (Chatra)
    This Fort belonged to the Cheros and was situated in Kunda of the Chatra district. Now it is in ruins.
    The minarets of this Fort were constructed in the Mughal style. At the entrance to the fort there is a
    well, which leads into a tunnel.

    Fort of Tilmi : (Ranchi)
    This Fort is situated at Tilmi village in the Karra block of the Ranchi district. Akbar Thakur built this Fort
    in 1737 AD.

    Rajbhavan of Palkot: (Ranchi)
    Nawanshi ruler, Yadunath Shah, had made Palkot his capital. Here, he built many beautiful buildings
    and temples.
