Jharkhand is situated in the Tropical Zone.
    Monsoon winds come from different areas. Winds coming from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian sea
    are the two important winds.

    Jharkhand has three main seasons :

    (a) The Summer Season    - March to May
    (b) The Rainy Season        - June to October
    (c) The Winter Season       - November to February

    Ayodhya Prasad has divided the climate of the state
    into seven zones :

                                                                            (ii)   Central Zone
                                                                            (iii)   East Santhal Paragana Zone
                                                                                 (iv)   Ocean Affected Zonc
                                                                           (v)    South West Zone
                                                                            (vi)   Ranchi Hazaribagh Zone
                                                                            (vii)   Pat Zone
